How to Get Rid of Humpback Flies
Thorough inspection along with sanitation is the key to managing Humpback fly infestations. Even food and debris in very small amounts can be enough to make it a prime breeding location. Identify these locations, sanitize and disinfect all surfaces to remove any accumulated organic debris from the exterior, and keep vegetation away from the foundation. Keep trash containers clean and seal any visible cracks on the exterior of your home.
Sticky fly traps can be used to attract and monitor infestations to help determine infestation locations but will not eradicate the problem. Pesticide sprays can help cut down the adult populations, but until the breeding sites are found and dealt with, the problem will continue.
