Do Earwigs Bite?
In most cases, earwigs are not destructive. Earwigs are not known to bite or sting humans. They also don't contain any amount of poison. It is possible for earwigs to pinch a person's skin with their pincers, but unless they feel threatened, earwigs are not known to pinch humans.
Even though they’re not aggressive, earwigs can still be a pest to homeowners by infesting their home or yard. In large groups, earwigs might damage marigolds, roses, strawberries and other plants.
