Our pest control repellents are made from pharmaceutical-grade organic capsaicin and our proprietary food-grade mineral oil formula. All-Weather Formula: Detour Gel is specially formulated so it will not melt or freeze it will retain its viscosity or stickiness regardless of climate. Thus, Detour Gel has already been proven to work effectively in the most challenging situations.
100% non-Toxic: Detour Gel is a true “Green” or “Bio-Friendly” product. It does not contaminate the earths ground water and cause 2nd generation toxicity problems to plants and animals.
Long-Lasting Protection: DeTour Gel has been shown to last up to one year outdoors and up to three years indoors when applied on non-porous surfaces as directed.
Reported Side-Effects: International pest control operators and site-specific States already use DeTour Gel as a barrier sealant in restaurants when traditional chemicals and trapping fail to work effectively.

Detour Gel Rat Repellent uses organic capsaicin (hot chili pepper extract) as the active ingredient. Capsaicin works by irritating nerve endings. Imagine the irritation one feels by eating hot chili peppers or by rubbing hot chili peppers on the skin. This is the same effect rats and mice feel when they encounter Detour Rat Repellent.

Detour Gel Repellent is a contact repellent and as such must come in direct physical contact with the rodent. The capsaicin is carried in a thickened food-grade mineral oil which is safe enough to eat yet will not harm humans or pollute the environment.

Detour Gel Repellent repels rodents by irritating the senses which causes the animals to want to leave the immediate area. Detour Gel Repellent will help remove rats and mice from the area when used as directed.

The Rodent Deterrent program is an add-on service to our existing Rodent exclusion service.

Annual Rodent Deterrent quarterly service at $30.00 per month
With no Deterrent service the annual renewal on exclusion at $250.00

If the annual deterrent service has been selected;

There is a $300.00 intensive to cover the cost of M&S as well as installation.
Place a 1.5” strip of Detour Gel inside a rodent bait station (RBS).
Place 4 to 5 stations around the exterior of home, behind landscaping or
ornaments.
Each RBS will be numbered and barcoded for mapping and scanning.
Quarterly service consists of; Scanning each box, checking the stations, cleaning and reapply Detour if necessary.
Our goal is to have the deterrent service done in conjunction with the customer’s quarterly PC service.
