Hurricane Ian Recovery

Back

Pest issues typically arise after a severe to catastrophic weather event and can continue to cause problems for months to years later.

At Truly Nolen, our goal is to not only make sure our customers are safe but also the communities in which we serve and live. Following Hurricane Ian, we recognized the widespread destruction that had taken place and immediately began efforts to provide water and supplies to our customers and employees that were affected. Once our community started to rebuild, we offered special discounts for Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island, Sarasota, Englewood, Lehigh and Cape Coral area residents to make our essential services as accessible as possible to our community. Now that several months have passed, we have decided to continue offering discounted rates on many of our services as our community continues to rebuild.

Now that we are several months out from the storm, here are some things you should know as a homeowner:

Pest Control

Several months after a severe weather event, the insect population will have returned to their normal activity levels. If you have seen an increase in insect pressure, we can help with that.

Lawn

Now that the water has subsided, lawns were damaged from the storm surge. Salt water and saturation may have disturbed your lawn, but we can we help get your lawn back on track and green as ever.

Rodent Control

Rodents looking for food and harborage after the storm likely found it, so now it is either a matter of eradicating them, or making sure they will not get in your home. We can help make sure rodents don't take up residence in your home.

Insulation

Many homes had roof damage and leaks after the storm. Remediating corrupted insulation remains a concern, especially since many homes needed large-scale contracting work before homeowners could focus on projects like insulation, including crawl insulation. We can help with that.

Mosquitoes

Though the water from the storm has mostly subsided, it created a perfect breeding environment, and the mosquito population is significantly larger than usual. Want to get rid of these annoying pests? We can help with that.

Home Sanitation Service

Service due to the potential for spread of bacteria and viruses from storm-related damage.

Termites

Several months after a significant storm, it is very possible that you will now start to see termite activity, or in the coming months. We offer complimentary inspections and strongly recommend that you have an expert visit your property to carefully inspect everything for any causes for concern.

We understand that the last several months have been extremely challenging. Truly Nolen wants you to feel confident that we will take care of these issues for you using the best and safest protocols possible for each situation, so you can continue to focus on the things that matter most to you.

Many of our Truly Nolen family members are a part of your community and some are even your neighbors. We remain committed to doing our best to help where we can.

Discounts applicable to new annual agreements only, in the Fort Myers, Naples, Cape Coral and Bonita Springs, Port charlotte, Marco Island areas, and not to be used in conjunction with any other offers.
